Valle de Las Batuecas, the monastery, River and stream. Around

about a week ago we enter the depths of the Valley of the Batuecas, known after its mysteries and legends. But apart from that we saw is a paradise, with its monastery and its river, where we kick a lot of ground until we found the famous jet.

Views of the monastery, in the most intricate of the valley, is an idyllic place for the monks who live there.

The first curiosity that we were two trees, a eucalyptus (Eucalyptus camaldulensis ) and yew (Taxus baccata ) species found in this valley an ideal place to needs.

Later we find the Painted Goat Canchal with cave paintings some 4,000 years ago.

Along the way we were entertained photographing reptiles:
tailed lizard ( Psammodromus algirus ).
Culebra viper ( Natrix maura).

also pay attention to the flora around us, there were many noble species, thermophiles and throwing more and most fruits.

Meanwhile, the griffon vulture (Gyps fulvus ) passed over our heads, from the rocks that we had on both sides and where most of the day resting.

At last we reached the jet, an impressive waterfall of 35 meters, while not bringing too much water served to refresh us and give us a swim.
