Charcas The Inhabitants of the Late

Summer is the best time to contemplate the charms of these little islands of water (ponds) that are in the vast sea of \u200b\u200boaks that are the meadows of Salamanca. These islands whose inhabitants with the naked eye can not see, but with time and patience to show their charms.

These that we are going to show are some of these people.

One of the most abundant, is the Newt (Pleurodeles waltl).

Another of the tenants of these islands is the Marbled Newt (Triturus marmoratus .)

The edge of the ponds are a multitude of frogs, highly prized as food by waterfowl.

On the other hand, among the other inhabitants include the Water Snake (Natrix maura) and the European terrapin (Emys orbicularis) , which unfortunately did not get photographed.

Hope you liked it.

A greeting.
