The conference on "How to make a children's book? Illustration in Children's Literature", to be held in the Teatro Principal de Burgos on April 8 to April 9, is dedicated to illustrating children's books and juveniles. Experts (illustrators, graphics, editors, teachers) in different European countries establish a dialogue on their experience in the illustration of children's literature.
The event is organized by EUNIC Spain (the network of European cultural institutes in this country), in order to address the current landscape of literary production and the institutions and agencies to promote and support translation and reading in Europe.
The main objective is to provide a forum for dialogue through roundtables felt ongoing collaborative basis, for greater knowledge of European literature in Spain and Latin America from publishers, businesses, organizations and educational institutions translation. Cartoonists and illustrators
Austria, Poland, Hungary, France and Romania will come on April 8 the Board bustle to offer at the International Symposium Europe EUNIC Translate your vision about the role of illustration in children's literature, that is so important to promote reading, to awaken in children passion for books, while analyzing the challenges that the digital age poses to the sector.
The Symposium will be complemented by the development of four workshops, two comics and two drawing-taught by the prestigious international illustrators to be held the following day at the V Lounge Children Books.
